Purpose of the role
We are looking for a Data and Performance Team Leader to join our Onward Environmental team for a fixed term of 12 months. The purpose of the role is ensuring the effective delivery of data, planning and performance monitoring across all aspects of Environmental Services, including Cleaning and Waste Management,and Grounds Maintenance and Trees as well as providing essential support to facilitate the effective delivery of the service managing the Admin team.
Job Responsibilities
Delivery
Providing support to the Environmental Services Managers, Team Leaders, and their teams acrossthe service. This includes organising colleagues, administrating the supply chain of materials,supporting service delivery, and monitoring performance. Ensuring that the Housing Managementsystem, Parks Plotter, and other relevant systems are administered and kept up to date.
Planning
Providing an effective planning support function to ensure the effective delivery of cleaning,window cleaning, responsive waste management, grounds maintenance, and trees.
Support
Line managing the admin team, ensuring the processing purchase orders, invoices, etc. required tosupport the efficient delivery of the service. Supporting management with productivity measures,work planning, and ensuring the effective use of all resources. Providing administrative cover andsupport across the service.
Systems
Ensuring the Housing Management system, and Parks Plotter, are maintained, and kept up to date,as well as any other relevant systems, with overall control of the systems used to ensure mappingof assets is correct.
Customer
Responding to customer enquiries and supporting the resolution of customer queries, andcomplaints as required. Producing and analysing customer feedback to ensure continuousimprovement across all areas.
Internal Partnership Working
Ensure collaborative working to deliver the required service levels. Working effectively with internalservice areas and external partners to achieve positive results. Be an ambassador for Onward, and aneffective Environmental Services Team.
Skills/Experience
Essential:
- Proven ability to work in a customer focused environment.
- Experience of working in a similar function in another business.
- Ability to effectively manage resources and work-planning.
- Ability to effectively manage performance and productivity.
- IT literacy and system capability.
- Knowledge of Microsoft systems, Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of work planning IT systems.
- Line management experience
