- We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented
Fire Safety Compliance Coordinator to join our Fire Safety Team.
In this important role, you will support the delivery of fire safety compliance programmes by maintaining accurate records, managing compliance data and systems, supporting audits, and helping ensure that all required certifications and remedial actions are tracked and completed.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and analytical skills who enjoys working with data, systems, and colleagues across a variety of teams to help deliver a safe and compliant service for our customers.
Role requirements
This is a hybrid role where the candidate will be required to attend our Liverpool Watson Office on Monday and Tuesday each week and working from or site for the rest of the week as required.
- What You\'ll Be Doing
- Maintaining Compliance Records
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of planned and completed fire safety compliance work.
- Ensure information is recorded correctly for compliance monitoring and financial purposes.
- Support the Fire Safety Team in maintaining robust compliance documentation.
Certification and Remedial Actions
- Record and monitor landlord compliance certificates and reports.
- Identify non-compliances, defects, and additional remedial works and escalate these to the appropriate colleagues.
- Support the monitoring and completion of follow-up actions.
- Information Analysis and Reporting
- Analyse performance information relating to fire safety compliance programmes.
- Produce and validate reports to support service performance monitoring.
- Assist in tracking the delivery of compliance work programmes against targets.
- System Administration
- Support the effective administration of compliance and asset management systems.
- Raise and manage work orders, budgets, invoices, and payments as required.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of data across systems.
- Audit Support
- Provide accurate and timely information to support internal and external audit requirements.
- Help demonstrate compliance through effective record management and reporting.
- What We\'re Looking For
Essential
- Experience of monitoring performance information relating to planned maintenance or compliance work programmes.
- Knowledge and understanding of property maintenance, asset management, or planned works.
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with a methodical and structured approach to work.
- Ability to work independently whilst also contributing effectively within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Database systems
- Housing Asset Management systems or similar business systems
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Level 2 VRQ (or equivalent qualification) in Asset and Building Compliance Awareness.

- Knowledge of housing management, business planning, or asset management systems.
- Understanding of compliance-related databases and finance systems.
- Experience working within the housing or property sector.
