Role Overview
The Cyber Security Advisory (CSA) team at Ontinue plays a critical role in delivering expert security guidance and hands‑on technical support to our customers. As a Cyber Security Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of this mission, acting as a trusted security partner throughout the customer journey — from initial onboarding through the full lifecycle of the service. In this role, you’ll help customers understand, adopt, and continuously improve their security posture by translating complex security concepts into clear, actionable guidance. You’ll work closely with customers to ensure Ontinue’s capabilities are aligned to their environments, goals, and risk profiles, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen defenses and address emerging threats. By building strong relationships and providing ongoing advisory support, Cyber Security Advisors help customers realize maximum value from the Ontinue platform, improve operational resilience, and make informed security decisions with confidence.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest cyber security trends, attacker tradecraft, and best practices, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge to better serve our customers.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of cyber security experience, with a proven track record of providing advisory services to clients or internal stakeholders.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interfacing with all levels of business and providing informal leadership in cyber security matters.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft security products and technologies, with proficiency in Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and the Microsoft Defender suite or related product lines.
- Deep understanding of attacker tradecraft and security hardening techniques, enabling you to offer valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
- Fluent in English.

- Scripting/programming skills to automate security tasks and processes.
- Experience in incident response and threat hunting, enhancing your ability to detect and respond to security incidents effectively.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra, contributing to comprehensive security assessments and solutions.
