AP Filtration, a growing specialist in oil and fuel filtration products for the aerospace industry, are recruiting for a Sales, Procurement & Production Planner to join our Operations team. You’ll support the coordination of customer orders, purchasing activity and production planning to ensure on-time delivery and excellent customer service. This role will be based at our Westhoughton site. We are a close-knit team operating in a fast-paced SME environment where individuals make a real impact. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products to our customers and continuously improving the way we work as we grow.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales order book within our ERP system, maintaining accurate delivery dates and providing updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain production schedules in collaboration with the shop floor and operations team, ensuring efficient use of capacity and alignment with delivery commitments.
  • Raise purchase orders, monitor supplier performance and manage supply risks to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Support compliance with aerospace standards, ensuring all documentation, certification and traceability requirements are met.
  • Act as a central point of coordination across sales, procurement, stores and production to keep priorities aligned and operations running effectively in a dynamic environment.

About You / Qualifications

  • Experience from a manufacturing environment, ideally within production planning, supply chain, procurement or order management.
  • Confidence using ERP systems and managing multiple priorities, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solver comfortable communicating with suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure issues are resolved and delivery commitments are met.
  • Experience in aerospace or a regulated industry is advantageous, with awareness of quality standards such as Part 21 or AS9100.
