SIOP Analyst to join our programme management team at our
Staverton site.

The Role

As our SIOP Analyst, you will transform complex supply chain data into clear, compelling stories that generate insight, engagement and action.
Ensuring a dynamic supply chain is one of Ontic’s key strategic priorities.
You will play an important role in helping us optimise our end-to-end supply chain, improve operational visibility and enhance value across the business.
Working closely with teams including Finance, Procurement, Planning, Programmes and Operations, you will act as the key link between the SIOP team and stakeholder groups across our Staverton site.
You will help embed SIOP as a core business process, build confidence in the data and support the continued development and maturity of the SIOP cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate and analyse data to support each stage of the SIOP cycle.
- Build datasets, reports and analysis covering supply and demand, inventory, inventory turns, operational capacity and other key supply chain measures.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reports that communicate clear, actionable insights to stakeholders across the business.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure relevant operational and commercial intelligence is captured within the SIOP process.
- Champion SIOP across the organisation and encourage active stakeholder participation in the process.
- Organise and facilitate SIOP pre-work sessions.
- Present supply, demand and inventory analysis during pre-work sessions to support effective decision-making, ownership and follow-up actions.
- Support the SIOP Manager throughout the SIOP cycle, including preparing data and executive-level materials for senior review meetings.
- Work with Finance, Procurement, Planning, Programmes, Operations and other functions to identify risks, opportunities, constraints and required actions.
- Help embed the SIOP process and increase its maturity across the organisation.
- Work with colleagues across the UK and globally to promote a consistent approach to SIOP data, reporting and performance measures.
- Maintain the quality, accuracy and integrity of SIOP data and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data models, processes and stakeholder engagement.
- Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role as required to support business needs.

- Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Professional experience, in business, finance, operations, supply chain or a related discipline.
- Three to five years’ experience in planning, procurement, finance, supply chain or a related analytical role.
- Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience of SIOP.
- Experience supporting business change, process improvement or change-management activity.
- Excellent stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of supply-chain-focused KPI calculation methods.
- Good understanding of data warehousing and data-modelling principles.
- Experience analysing data within a cloud data warehouse; Snowflake experience would be advantageous.
- Experience using ERP systems; knowledge of Infor Syteline would be an advantage.
- Strong Power BI skills, including the ability to create reports, metrics and dashboards that tell a clear data story.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into concise executive summaries, presentations and actionable recommendations.
- Confidence presenting findings to stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
- Ability to organise and facilitate cross-functional meetings and working sessions.
- A collaborative, proactive and improvement-focused approach.
- Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced operational environment.
Essential Requirements
- Practical experience of SIOP or an equivalent integrated business-planning process.
- Experience gained within planning, procurement, finance, operations or supply chain.
- Strong data-analysis and reporting capability.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret supply chain data and convert it into clear, actionable insight.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within aerospace, engineering or a complex manufacturing environment.
- Snowflake or similar cloud data-warehouse experience.
- Infor Syteline or comparable ERP-system experience.
- Experience supporting the implementation or maturity development of a SIOP process.
- Knowledge of inventory, capacity, supply, demand and operational-performance reporting.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed or global teams.
