Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a Material Planner to join our team based in Staverton to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.
What you'll be doing
- You'll support effective material management to support business plans and schedules for Ontic.
- You'll work closely with Supply Chain, Programmes and Production to ensure products are delivered on time and to the required quality.
- You'll be proactive in working any shortages through the supply chain, goods inward and stores performing root cause investigation and resolution where necessary.
- You'll identify and manage material requirements of bulk issue including end of life management and monitor and suggest stock levels and use of safety stock where necessary.
What you'll already have
- You'll have experience of working in a manufacturing environment in a Planning/Material role and be comfortable using ERP/MRP systems with experience of using Forecasting, Production Planning and Scheduling.
- You'll be comfortable communicating with both internal and external stakeholders and able to work autonomously using influencing skills to drive customer demands within the wider business.
- Experience of working within an Aerospace environment would be desirable.
