Warehouse Operative in Manchester

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (6 month fixed term contract) to support the sufficient running of the Stores function. This role will be based at our Bolton Site.

The Role:

As a member of the Stores Team, you will report to our Stores Line Manager. You will be involved in the running of the Stores function, ensuring correct procedures are carried out in the storage and issue of materials. Your responsibilities will include:

• Issuing materials in line with agreed procedures to meet production and customer requirements.
• Kitting of work orders to the Shop Floor.
• Maintaining accurate stock records on the ERP system by carrying out regular stock control as required.
• Adhering to HSE and Quality regulations at all times.
• Picking and issuing stock according to pick lists and maintaining stock rotation while following stock location procedures.
• Providing general support to the Stores Manager and Stores team undertaking a variety of tasks as allocated.
