This role will support us in ensuring compliance, continual improvement, and excellence across our IMS approvals and processes.

As the Aerospace Quality Auditor, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our Integrated Management System (IMS) meets the highest standards of compliance and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Head of IMS Compliance, you’ll be responsible for verifying that the IMS is effectively implemented, maintained, and aligned with Ontic’s policies, objectives, and key performance indicators. You’ll lead and conduct internal audits according to the approved schedule, ensuring that our processes and procedures meet the requirements of international standards and reflect the real working practices within the business. You’ll communicate findings clearly, raise non-conformances where necessary, and work closely with teams across the organisation to drive corrective and preventative actions (CAPA). This role requires a strong eye for detail, a passion for quality, and the ability to influence and guide colleagues to uphold best practices. You’ll also ensure that all audits are carried out objectively and impartially, maintaining Ontic’s commitment to regulatory excellence. Additionally, the role will involve Continuous Improvement activities to ensure our processes evolve and adapt as required.

At Ontic, our culture is integral to making sure we enjoy our work and deliver for our customers. While we look for the right skillset, we’re also looking for someone who will thrive within our culture of recognition, empowerment, and shared success. You’ll have a proven track record of conducting audits, managing CAPA processes, and supporting compliance improvements in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in systems such as Q-Pulse, Net-Inspect, and MS Office/ERP platforms are key. You’ll also need to demonstrate sound judgement, objectivity, and the ability to make balanced decisions that consider wider business implications. As this role involves frequent travel across the UK, flexibility and adaptability are essential.
