Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a HSE Manager to join our team based at our office in Bishops Cleeve and Staverton, Gloucestershire to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.
What will you be doing?
Reporting directly to the SMT Director of Quality, You\’ll be responsible for managing the risks across our Bishops Cleeve site, and you\’ll be working closely with the H&S team in installing a strong safety management system for Ontic UK. You\’ll ensure that employers and workers comply with safety legislation and that safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to. You\’ll also plan, implement, monitor and review protective and preventative safety measures.
What will you need to know?
The candidate will need to demonstrate strong I.T skills working closely with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint. In health and safety we are looking to inspire, coach and lead and as the role is predominately working with people from all areas of the business, the candidate will have the ability to communicate well and adapt appropriately to different audiences. Ideally we would want the candidate to have experience in Manufacturing and Engineering or worked within the Aerospace aviation industry.
