Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has opportunities for FAI Quality/Report Technicians at our Staverton site. The Role:
- You will prepare and perform First Article Inspection (FAI) activities supporting manufacturing. This includes reviewing manufacturing schedules, analysing data packs, and applying processes to FAI activities in support of Validation Plans.
- You will create and deliver FAI reports by witnessing manufacturing operations and populating data within relevant systems.
- Additionally, you will compile FAI metrics for management reviews.
About You:
- You have proven experience delivering FAI in line with customer requirements and AS9102 standards.
- A minimum of a time-served apprenticeship and relevant FAI experience are preferred.
- You understand customer, regulatory, and certification requirements and can identify business improvements and ensure their effective implementation.
