Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are recruiting for a Finance Shared Service Manager to join our team. You will be based between our offices in Bishops Cleeve and Staverton to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans. What will you be doing?
- Management / oversight of the Credit Control and Accounts Payable functions and positions within finance (team of 5).
- Production of key balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support month end processing and business reporting.
- Lead weekly debt meetings to drive efficient and effective credit control and challenge the wider business as required.
- Ownership of the GRNI process and ensuring timely reconciliations are completed.
- Support the OPCF forecast and analysis by maintaining tidy and complete accounting ledgers and developing an understanding of customer and supplier activity.
- Facilitate the approval and creation of customer and supplier accounts.
- Ensure financial controls are maintained and fit for purpose.
- Support external and internal site audit processes as required.
What will you need to know?
Essential
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Recently qualified / Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong Excel skills
- Logical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload
- Ability to communicate easily on various levels
- Ability to investigate problems and resolve queries in a timely manner
- Comfort in an environment of change and continuous improvement
Desirable
- Evidence of personal growth and development
- One Stream and Infor Visual or Siteline experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Line Management experience
