The Role
As a Project Engineer, you’ll take ownership of delivering technically challenging engineering projects spanning product introduction, product improvement, series production, and ongoing in‑service support. You’ll be at the centre of cross‑functional collaboration—shaping solutions, solving technical challenges, and driving performance across our project portfolio.
- Lead the technical execution, planning, and delivery of engineering projects across the full lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring requirements are understood and delivered.
- Facilitate clear communication across multi‑site teams, presenting updates to both technical and senior audiences.
- Develop robust business cases and analyse technical and financial data to inform project decisions.
- Apply sound engineering judgement to influence design decisions and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure readiness for manufacture while supporting supply chain, operations and in‑service needs.
- Drive performance across cost, quality, schedule, and risk—spotting improvement opportunities early.
- Champion continuous improvement, applying CI tools (Lean, 8D, 5 Whys, lessons learned) to strengthen project execution and delivery.
- Inspire and support cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.

- Has a degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Has experience leading or supporting multi‑disciplinary engineering projects (aerospace background desirable).
- Understands aerospace product development, qualification, and transition to production.
- Is skilled in project management methodologies (PRINCE2, APM, PMBOK).
- Brings strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with experience using structured CI tools.
- Communicates confidently with technical and non‑technical audiences alike.
- Thrives on precision, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- A background in systems engineering (electrical, electronic, mechanical, software) is a bonus.
