Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Customer Account Administrator to join our programmes team. This role will be based at our Staverton site. The Customer Account Administrator role is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate sales processing, receipt of Purchase Orders to Sales Orders creation, and accurate picking of sales orders for shipment to customers. There may also be a requirement for some day-to-day interface with internal and external customers on product sales issues. The Customer Account Administrator will be expected to manage the requisite flow of information to all areas of the business and customers, delivering information in an effective and professional manner.
The Customer Account Administrator role reports shall include, but is not limited to:
- Accurate checking and acknowledgement of Purchase Orders, including identifying requirements for End User Undertakings.
- Entering / maintaining sales orders and forecasts.
- Undertaking customer liaison as required for sales order administration, ensuring good customer communication and relationships are maintained.
- Assisting the Revenue Management Team with sales history or current sales status.
- Validation of Purchase Order requests against customer contract and/or quality requirements.
- Support as required to line manager to facilitate new and additional business activities.
- Checking requests for credit from Customers and advising the Programme Manager/ Finance Team accordingly.
- Customer specific requirements for allocated customers.
- General administrative support to the Programmes Team as requested including general absence cover where appropriate.
- Accurate picking of Sales Orders to prepare the order for shipping ensuring all business, Customer and ITC requirements are adequately addressed.
