Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, is seeking an Integrated Management System Auditor (IMSA) to join our IMS Compliance team. In this role, you will support the delivery of compliance and continuous improvement across our Integrated Management System. This position will be based across our three Gloucester sites, with occasional travel to our Bolton site.
This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career within IMS. You will benefit from a structured development pathway, combining formal training with practical experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of the IMS audit programme in line with company policies, objectives and regulatory requirements
- Assisting in the planning, preparation and execution of internal audits under supervision
- Participating in audits to gain an understanding of how IMS processes and procedures are applied in practice
- Supporting the identification and documentation of non-conformances and improvement opportunities
- Assisting with audit reporting, ensuring clear and accurate documentation of findings
- Supporting follow-up activities, including tracking corrective actions and developing CAPA problem-solving techniques
About You

- A background in auditing, QMS engineering or regulatory training coordination
- Experience within the aerospace, MRO, OE or OEM sectors (desirable)
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the confidence to communicate effectively across teams and divisions
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements clearly
- Good negotiation and influencing skills when working with compliance and auditing teams
- Experience with systems such as Teammate Audit, ETQ audit findings, RCA and CAPA (desirable)
- You will be a self-starter, capable of making sound decisions while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
