Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for an Order Management Co-ordinator to join our programmes team responsible for managing relationships with a portfolio of clients. This role will be based at our Staverton site.

Please note this position is a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Role:

  • Loading Civil and Military, New Build and Spares Orders within Ontic’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and wider business systems. Ensuring that information provided by Customers is accurately captured within the respective Purchase Order.
  • Validating the accuracy and integrity of Customer provided documentation, including Purchase Order and Customer specific requirements that may be required. Work with both Customer Account Managers (CAMs) and Customer Programme Managers (CPMs) to resolve information omissions.
  • Administering a variety of Customer Portals to extract and upload requisite information.
  • Communicating updates regarding the status of Order Reviews and Purchase Order queries to both CAMs and CPMs.
  • Responsible for loading orders to Ontic’s Customer Relationship Management system to facilitate and close Contract Reviews. Providing reports to Customer Account Managers concerning Orders that are held and working towards resolutions of such bottlenecks.
  • Responsible for working across functions to complete and close out Contract Reviews, escalating delays in the progression of Contract Reviews.
  • Responsible for supporting the invoicing function within Ontic. Reconciling exports against Customer Orders and the issuance of invoices.
  • Apply attention to detail and possess a pragmatic approach towards problem solving.
