Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, is recruiting for an Integrated Management System Auditor (IMSA) to join our IMS Compliance team where you'll support us in ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across our IMS system.
As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will be based across our two Gloucester sites and will be site-based five days per week. The Role:This is an exciting opportunity to join Ontic's Configuration & Change Management team, offering excellent career development within a highly collaborative engineering environment. The Configuration Management Specialist is a pivotal role and key to ensuring engineering change requests are accurately assessed, processed, and documented to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
Working closely with technical engineering teams across multiple sites, you will play a vital role in supporting configuration control activities and maintaining the integrity of engineering and manufacturing data. You will be:
- Monitoring and managing configuration and change request systems.
- Assessing engineering change data and supporting change query resolution.
- Analysing and processing PRs, ECRs, and ECNs through the Change Control process in line with Ontic procedures whilst maintaining data repositories and ensuring released data accurately reflects Windchill records.
- Organising and chairing Change Control Board meetings, including TRB and CIB reviews.
- Coordinating effective review and approval of ECRs and ECNs with wider cross-functional teams.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and providing feedback to process owners.
- Collaborating closely with engineering and operational teams to ensure effective configuration management practices.
We welcome applicants with experience in roles such as Change Analyst, Configuration Analyst, Document Controller, Data Controller, or Technical Administrator.
