Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Global Talent Acquisition team. This is an opportunity to join an evolving, in-house recruitment function where you'll partner closely with hiring managers to attract, assess and hire the skilled people who keep our business moving. Based at our Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham or Staverton, Gloucester site, you'll support recruitment across engineering, manufacturing, technical and business functions, with occasional travel between sites.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle, acting as a trusted partner to hiring managers from workforce planning through to offer and onboarding. You'll help shape recruitment strategies, advise managers on best practice, build talent pipelines and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. This isn't simply about filling vacancies. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, influencing hiring decisions and finding creative ways to attract great talent in competitive markets. You'll work across a varied portfolio of roles, with a particular focus on technical, engineering and manufacturing recruitment, using market insight and sourcing expertise to identify and engage high-quality candidates.
As part of a global Talent Acquisition team, you'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping us enhance recruitment processes, strengthen employer branding and deliver consistent, high-quality hiring practices across the business.
We're ideally looking for an experienced in-house recruiter who has recruited technical, engineering or manufacturing talent and enjoys partnering with hiring managers to solve hiring challenges. You'll understand how to identify transferable skills, build candidate pipelines and deliver a first-class recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment. We'd also welcome applications from agency recruiters who have built strong relationships within the engineering or manufacturing sectors and are looking to move into an in-house Talent Acquisition role.
To be successful you'll have:
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment, ideally within engineering, manufacturing or technical environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
- Excellent sourcing capability using LinkedIn Recruiter and other attraction channels.
- The ability to manage multiple vacancies while delivering a high-quality candidate experience.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a passion for delivering great hiring outcomes.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System such as Workday would be advantageous, but not essential.
