Salary: £24,000 pa

Hours: Wed-Thu 10-7, Fri 10-8:30, Sun 10-8:30

Position type: Permanent 35 Hours (four 1 hour unpaid lunch breaks, 39 hours total)

Reports to: General Manager

Company Profile: OnTarget Range opened April 2015, as a destination for Airgun shooters in the Midlands. Today we have more than 1200 members of the Air Rifle Club and 80 members of our Home Office Approved Live Fire club. We attract a wide range of customers from seasoned shooters to experience seekers. We are looking to move into a period of growth for the business, taking on new product lines and extending existing ones. We are open to our customers 6 days a week for Air Rifle Shooting, and the Live Club operates Fri, Sat & Sundays. We have a fully stocked shop and a coffee shop on site.

Role Summary: As OnTarget is a small business, there is a requirement for all colleagues to be flexible and able to perform a variety of roles, which include:

  • Briefing customers in the use of the Air Rifles
  • Taking bookings for the Range over the telephone using the bespoke computer system
  • Product Sales
  • End of Day financial reconciliation

Additional specific tasks relevant to the role include:

  • Stock Control
  • Purchasing & Procurement
  • Projects and IT initiatives to enhance and support existing business
  • Invoicing
  • Liaising with the Police for Licensing & membership administration
  • Marketing
  • Advertising
  • Live Range Control
  • Range Conducting Officer Training provided (Nationally recognised Course)
  • Gun Smithing Training Provided
  • Checking and Maintaining Range Equipment

Required Skills:

Additional notes: Current FAC holders advantageous. Role is subject to a 3-month probationary period.
