Embedded Software Engineer in Sheffield

Responsibilities

• Using QML, develop, test and optimize software for embedded platforms, including microcontrollers and Human-Machine Interfaces
• Design and develop embedded software solutions for use in mobile machinery, in compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams
• Provide technical support to customer support teams on relevant queries

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• C/C++ proficiency
• Knowledge of embedded communications protocols (LIN, CAN)
• Experience using the Qt/QML to develop applications
• Knowledge of Git, SVN, or similar version control system
• Writing high-quality code, integrating hardware and software components
