Responsibilities
- Design internal and external aircraft structures, interior elements, and integrated systems (e.g., cameras, antennas, equipment racks)
- Prepare technical documents, including reports, analyses, test procedures, and installation instructions
- Develop and maintain engineering design standards
- Select appropriate materials, components, and equipment
- Create mechanical concepts and designs for structural installations such as monument attachments, ceiling structures, antenna/camera mounts, avionics racks, wire routing, and auxiliary tank installations
- Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings
- Work effectively with aircraft structural documentation and OEM references
- Apply relevant certification requirements, rules, and means of compliance correctly
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience working as a mechanical design engineer in aerospace - Essential
- Proficient in 2D/3D CAD
- Bachelors in Aeronautical Engineering
