Technical Author – Aerospace

Responsibilities

  • Support in building up Manuals and Illustrations supplements (AMM & IPC) as well as the internal guidelines.
  • Develop technical documentation libraries (illustration and reused sentences).
  • Establish and update the aircraft maintenance manual (AMM) supplements and the Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) supplements.
  • Write according to the airworthiness requirements EASA (EU) No 748/2012 (Initial Airworthiness).
  • Work effectively with engineering teams and relevant shops to analyze relevant documents and gather data.
  • Produce the isometric illustrations, and track the design revisions.
  • Prepare the customer documentation package.

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years as Technical Author in Aerospace Industry.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
  • Skilled in Adobe FrameMaker, Illustrator, IsoDraw CADprocess, SketchUp, AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of XML and VB Script is an advantage.
  • Excellent English communication (spoken and US-written).
