Responsibilities
- Project support for advanced aerospace systems
- Drive research and collaborate with engineers, building accurate Digital Mock-Ups (DMUs) for major assemblies in 3D
- Update models and manufacturing drawings alongside Senior Design Engineers
- User guides, BOMs, and design specifications
- Validate manufacturing drawings, models and supporting files
- Manage configuration control for active projects
- Drive efficiency and quality
- Act as the link between customers and internal teams
- Support design reviews (PDR, CDR, FDR)
- Assist with work package quotes, including effort estimates, pricing, and delivery timelines
Qualifications
- Level 5 (HND) or 6 (BSc) Engineering Qualification
Experience
- 3+ years of experience working in a design office environment
- 2+ years of project support experience
- Working experience in an Aerospace, Rail & Automotive (ARA) engineering environment
- Hands-on experience with CATIA V5
