Survey Assistant- Flow

Contract: Full-Time | Permanent | 45 hours per week

We are looking for proactive, safety-conscious Survey Assistants to join our growing operational team and support the delivery of Flow Survey projects across the UK.
As a key member of our field operations team, you will assist in delivering all aspects of flow surveying works, helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Surveyors in carrying out flow survey works across domestic, commercial, and public infrastructure environments.
- Support the installation, operation, maintenance, and removal of flow and level monitoring equipment.
- Assist with confined space entry activities in accordance with training, certification, and company procedures.
- Accurately record survey data, including:
- Pipe condition assessments
- Measurements within confined space environments
- Structural defects and observations
- Flow and level monitoring information
- Assist in producing survey reports, site sketches, and field records.
- Carry out basic drainage maintenance, cleaning, and unblocking activities where required.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments, method statements, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment to a high standard.
- Assist with traffic management operations and safe site setup where required.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and supervisors to ensure successful project delivery.
What You'll Need:
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Aged 18 or over.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to work away from home when required by operational demands.
- Flexibility to work unsociable hours, including nights, weekends, and emergency callouts when required.
- CSCS Card, or willingness to obtain one.
- Confined Space certification (advantageous but training can be provided).
- NRSWA Street Works accreditation (desirable).
- Previous experience within drainage, utilities, construction, or related industries is beneficial but not essential.
