This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the water industry's most critical challenges while developing your expertise across data, network operations, and strategic resolution planning. At Onsite Central Ltd, Project Leads play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of Flow Department projects. Through strong leadership, attention to detail, customer focus, and operational excellence, they support the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality services across Yorkshire Water and Northumbrian Water Metasphere programmes.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery and operational management of EDM, IPM, SLM, and Metasphere project activities.
  • Coordinate field teams and resources to ensure project objectives, performance targets, and service delivery requirements are achieved.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and prioritization of installation, maintenance, and monitoring programmes.
  • Monitor project progress, identify operational constraints, and implement solutions to maintain delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards, internal quality procedures, and Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, quality records, and support audit and compliance activities.
  • Oversee the collection, validation, and reporting of project and asset performance data.
  • Provide operational updates, performance analysis, and action plans to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Act as a key point of contact for client representatives, fostering strong working relationships and supporting contractual performance objectives.
  • Manage stock, equipment, and project resources to ensure availability, optimize utilization, and minimize waste.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Maintain training compliance, support onboarding of new team members, and encourage adherence to best practices and operational standards.

What You'll Need:

Essential Skills

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent organisation and planning abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working within utility, water, telemetry, instrumentation, or monitoring environments.
  • Ability to analyse operational data and identify improvements.
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools.


Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of all hardware systems and products (HWM, VEGA, NIVUS, METASPHERE etc.)
  • Experience working within all water authority frameworks.
  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS.
  • Water industry experience.
  • Project management qualifications.
