We’re looking for a proactive, safety-focused Survey Assistants to join our operational team and help us deliver high-quality drainage services to our clients.
As a key member of our field operations, you’ll be a vital part of a team delivering CCTV & Jetting works for our clients.
The Role:
- Assist the lead surveyor in carrying out CCTV drainage surveys / Jetting Works on domestic, commercial, and public infrastructure.
- Support the setup, operation, and maintenance of surveying equipment (e.g. CCTV cameras, jetting units, sondes).
- Help with confined space entry procedures where required (in line with training and certification).
- Record survey findings accurately, including:
- Pipe condition
- Blockages or defects
- Structural issues
- Assist in producing clear and detailed survey reports, sketches, and logs.
- Carry out basic drain cleaning and unblocking tasks when required.
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations, including risk assessments and PPE.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with traffic management and site setup where applicable.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors on-site.
What you’ll need:
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred/essential depending on role).
- CSCS card or willingness to obtain.
- Confined Space Training (advantageous but can be provided).
- Street Works (NRSWA) certification (desirable).
- Previous experience in drainage, construction, or utilities (beneficial but not essential).
