OnSite are looking for a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our growing Rail & Civils team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a business that values safety, quality, and professional development while working on a variety of rail and civil engineering projects.

As a Skilled Groundworker, you will undertake a range of groundwork and civil engineering activities, including:

  • Excavation
  • Drainage
  • Concreting
  • Foundations
  • Reinstatement works

You'll work within rail and operational environments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role: As a Skilled Groundworker, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking all aspects of groundwork and civil engineering activities
  • Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and site specifications
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
  • Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas
  • Supporting site teams to deliver projects on time and to specification
  • Working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider project team

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Groundworker role
  • Valid PTS certification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A reliable, proactive and positive approach to work
  • CSCS Card
  • Confined Space training
  • First Aid certification
  • TWC/TWS
