OnSite are looking for a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our growing Rail & Civils team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a business that values safety, quality, and professional development while working on a variety of rail and civil engineering projects.
As a Skilled Groundworker, you will undertake a range of groundwork and civil engineering activities, including:
- Excavation
- Drainage
- Concreting
- Foundations
- Reinstatement works
You'll work within rail and operational environments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role: As a Skilled Groundworker, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking all aspects of groundwork and civil engineering activities
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting drawings and site specifications
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
- Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas
- Supporting site teams to deliver projects on time and to specification
- Working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider project team
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Groundworker role
- Valid PTS certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable, proactive and positive approach to work
- CSCS Card
- Confined Space training
- First Aid certification
- TWC/TWS
