At Onsite Central Ltd, Project Leads play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of Flow Department projects.
Through strong leadership, attention to detail, customer focus, and operational excellence, they support the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality services across Yorkshire Water and Northumbrian Water Metasphere programmes.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the water industry's most critical challenges while developing your expertise across data, network operations, and strategic resolution planning.
Onsite is part of the South Staffordshire Group – a 3,000-strong organization behind South Staffs Water, Cambridge Water, and several leading utility support businesses – offering long-term development and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Flow, SDM, Metasphere, and Special Projects activities to ensure successful delivery.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Ensure compliance with RAMS, company procedures, client requirements, and Health & Safety standards.
- Monitor project progress, performance, risks, and operational data, providing regular reports and updates.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
- Support team development through training, briefings, and adherence to best practices.
- Oversee stock, equipment, and asset management to support efficient project delivery.
- Ensure project objectives, KPIs, and contractual obligations are achieved.
- What You'll Need
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisation and planning abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience working within utility, water, telemetry, instrumentation, or monitoring environments.
- Ability to analyse operational data and identify improvements.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Knowledge of all hardware systems and products (HWM, VEGA, NIVUS, METASPHERE etc.)
- Experience working within all water authority frameworks.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- Water industry experience.
