OnSite are looking for a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our growing Rail & Civils team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a business that values safety, quality, and professional development while working on a variety of rail and civil engineering projects.
As a Skilled Groundworker, you will undertake a range of groundwork and civil engineering activities, including excavation, drainage, concreting, foundations and reinstatement works. You'll work within rail and operational environments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role:
- Responsible for undertaking all aspects of groundwork and civil engineering activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Excavation and drainage works.
- Concreting, foundations and reinstatement activities.
- Working within rail and operational environments in accordance with site procedures.
- Reading and interpreting drawings and site specifications.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas.
- Supporting site teams to deliver projects on time and to specification.
- Working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider project team.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Groundworker role.
- Valid PTS certification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, proactive and positive approach to work.
- CSCS Card.
- Confined Space training.
- First Aid certification.
- TWC/TWS.
