Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the water industry\’s most critical challenges while developing your expertise across data, network operations, and strategic resolution planning.

Onsite is part of the South Staffordshire Group – a 3,000-strong organisation behind South Staffs Water, Cambridge Water, and several leading utility support businesses – offering long-term development and career progression.

Responsibilities

• Organizational & Preparation: Follow instructions, arrive prepared with PPE, assist with equipment and vehicle checks; complete required paperwork and understand job documentation.
• Site Work: Support safe equipment use and follow risk assessments; look after equipment, report issues, and leave sites clean and safe; accurately record time and follow quality procedures.
• Health & Safety: Follow all H&S policies and wear PPE; report hazards, near misses, and accidents immediately.
• Communication & Teamwork: Communicate politely and work cooperatively with colleagues and clients; maintain professional behaviour onsite.
• General: Support new starters and attend required training; identify and report potential business opportunities.

• A reliable and enthusiastic team player.
• Someone with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
• Willingness to learn, take instruction, and attend training.
• Ability to manage physical tasks and work in a variety of site environments.
• A full driving licence (desirable).
