£26,508 basic, up to £40,000 with overtime

Onsite part of the South Staffordshire Group – a 3,000-strong organisation behind South Staffs Water, Cambridge Water, and several leading utility support businesses – offering long‑term development and career progression.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the water industry's most critical challenges while developing your expertise across data, network operations and strategic resolution planning.

The Role

  • Review job packs, risk assessments and method statements before starting work.
  • Conduct vehicle, equipment and PPE checks to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Travel to site safely and on time, wearing correct PPE and company uniform.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors and colleagues on site.
  • Carry out dynamic risk assessments and work in line with all health and safety procedures.
  • Deliver works to required standards, timescales and client expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment throughout the job.
  • Complete job sheets, timesheets and digital records accurately using company systems (e. g., easyjob).
  • Report hazards, incidents and near misses promptly and appropriately.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings and ongoing training as required.
  • Use and maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment responsibly.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally at all times, representing the company positively.
  • Support the development of team members through knowledge sharing and on‑the‑job guidance.
  • What You’ll Need
  • Have a full UK driving licence.
  • Happy to stay away from home a few times a month.
