An exciting new opportunity for an Administrator to join our operational Centre in our Heathrow office. This is an excellent opportunity for a well organised administrator to learn new skills and progress a career within the utilities/water industry. This is a challenging role within a fast-paced environment, therefore, completing tasks with a ‘right first time’ approach will be a key factor. This is an exciting opportunity to assist on our most high-profile projects and enhance your career to the next level with a group that’s experiencing major growth.
On-Site are part of SSI within the South Staffordshire Group, which is a 3000 employee-strong group behind South Staffs, Cambridge water and a host of other businesses that feed into the utilities sector. You won’t just be joining one business; you’ll be part of a group that can offer you variety and development for the whole of your career!
What’s The Role
- Assisting in the planning and scheduling of site-based operatives whilst ensuring completion, maintenance and distribution of daily whereabouts throughout the working day
- Building effective relationships with direct employees, subcontractors, clients and companies.
- Assisting in processing of payment applications and invoices
- Dealing with all general enquiries within the remit of the job role and signposting to other specialist internal teams where appropriate.
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times.
- Performing any other Ad-hoc tasks as required by a senior admin within the administration team
- Attending specific operational and planning meetings
What You Will Need
- Computer literate, with keyboard skills and experience in word-processing, combined with the ability to acquire other skills as necessary.
- Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility where necessary and to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrable experience of effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in Microsoft Word & Excel.
