- Read the role profile carefully, especially the responsibilities and the skills, knowledge and experience required.
- Tailor your CV and cover letter to reflect how your experience and strengths match what we are looking for.
- Use specific examples to show how you meet the criteria; these can come from employment, volunteering, education or personal experience.
- Account for any gaps in your CV since leaving full-time education as this forms part of our safeguarding process. It’s common for people to take time away from employment, and we encourage openness about your circumstances.
- Include a brief note on how you demonstrate your commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
- You don’t need to meet every criteria - if you feel you have transferable skills or relevant lived experience, we encourage you to apply!
- When completing the online application, only the starred (*) fields are mandatory. We do however encourage you to include a contact phone number so we can easily reach you if you are shortlisted to interview stage.
