Salary Band: £28,000 – £32,000 Full Time Equivalent per annum (pro rata)

Hours: 34 hours per week

Location: Hereford, Herefordshire

Are you looking for a role that can make a difference? ONSIDE is seeking an experienced, values‑led manager to lead our statutory and contracted advocacy services in Herefordshire—including out‑of‑county delivery—supporting a team of advocates and volunteers to deliver safe, ethical, high‑quality outcomes all whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide strong operational leadership.
  • Effectively manage referrals, allocations and case management whilst maintaining robust recording, monitoring and evaluation of the service.
  • Provide high quality line management support to the team.
  • Drive quality, innovation and growth—identifying new opportunities, enhancing delivery models, and ensuring our work remains person‑centred, accessible and responsive to local need.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has a strong understanding of statutory advocacy and the legal/ethical frameworks that underpin it and have a strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, social inclusion and individual empowerment. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with staff, peers and stakeholders.
