Onshore Technical are currently looking to speak with experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors for a 6-month contract opportunity supporting a major infrastructure business within the energy sector. This role will be based across the Taunton / Bristol area, with a minimum of 3 days per week required on site. The successful candidate will support commercial activity across live energy infrastructure projects, working closely with project and commercial teams.

The Role
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will support the preparation of reports, claims and commercial documentation, while maintaining strong working relationships with business unit, project and commercial teams. You will be involved in managing subcontractor and supplier accounts, valuations, variations, compensation events, claims, forecasting, commercial reporting and final accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support commercial management across live energy infrastructure projects
- Prepare reports, claims and commercial documentation
- Manage project risks and maintain commercial records
- Support subcontractor and supplier management
- Manage quotations, valuations, variations, claims and final accounts
- Assist with compensation events and contract cost control
- Support project profitability through identifying variations, delays and claims
- Contribute to financial reporting and forecasting
- Attend project meetings and work closely with project teams
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and project requirements
Experience Required
- Senior Quantity Surveying experience
- Strong commercial management background
- Experience with valuations, variations and final accounts
- Compensation events, claims and contract cost management experience
- Subcontractor and supplier management experience
- Forecasting, reporting and risk management experience
- Energy, utilities or infrastructure experience preferred
- Confident working with project and commercial teams
