Lead Estimator Onshore Technical are currently looking to speak with experienced Lead Estimatorsfor a hybrid, Outside IR35contract opportunity supporting major civil engineering, infrastructure and energy projects. The role will involve preparing competitive tenders across a wide range of groundworks packages, working closely with clients, designers, subcontractors and internal teams to develop accurate, buildable and commercially strong submissions. Location: Enfield / Birmingham / Hybrid Rate: £650£700 per day IR35 Status: Outside IR35 Engagement: Contract Sector: Groundworks / Civil Engineering / Infrastructure / Energy Key Experience Preparing tenders for groundworks packages Reviewing tender documentation and identifying key requirements Supporting budget pricing at early project stages Identifying temporary works and design requirements Liaising with clients, designers and subcontractors Conducting site visits where required Identifying risks, ambiguities and commercial considerations Working with buying, design, contracts, QS and senior management teams D&B contract experience beneficial This role would suit a commercially strong estimator with a solid groundworks and civils background, who is confident leading tender activity on major projects.
