Your Role
As a Driver for OnRoute Transport Group, you will provide safe, punctual, and professional transport for passengers including children travelling to and from school and adults requiring community transport support. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and dropping off passengers safely and on time across Essex and Thurrock
- Building positive, professional relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff
- Completing pre-journey vehicle walkaround checks and reporting any defects promptly
- Following all company procedures, safeguarding policies, and council licensing conditions
- Maintaining accurate journey and booking records in line with company standards
- Being available for scheduled morning and afternoon shifts on school days, with additional routes available
What You Need
- A valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of one year
- A clean or near-clean driving record
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check — we assist with this)
