Due to continued demand for our temporary staffing services across Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne and the surrounding areas, we are recruiting experienced and reliable Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our flexible agency team.
As an Agency Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will work across a variety of residential and nursing care settings, supporting the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care.
About the Role
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing and overseeing high-quality personal care
- Supporting individuals with mobility and daily living
- Monitoring wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed
- Supporting and guiding other care staff
- Providing effective handovers
- Escalating changes or concerns regarding an individual's health or wellbeing appropriately
- Where required by the placement, supporting with the administration and recording of medication
What We’re Looking For
Applicants must:
- Have recent UK experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant
- Be confident with care documentation, safeguarding, moving and handling, infection prevention and recognising and reporting concerns
- Be willing to complete Onpoint Care's induction, mandatory training and any required competency assessments
- Have an Enhanced DBS, satisfactory employment references and the Right to Work in the UK
