This is a key leadership role for someone who is passionate about quality, compliance, and building a thriving, person-centred service. You will work closely with our Nominated Individual, who will provide strategic support, guidance, and oversight as you grow the service, strengthen our care team, and develop Onpoint Homecare’s presence across East Sussex.
About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring it operates safely, effectively, and in line with CQC requirements. Alongside this, you will play a central role in business development, identifying opportunities to expand our client base, build partnerships, and enhance the reputation of OnPoint Homecare. This is a role for a leader who wants to shape a service, not just maintain one.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, visible leadership and promote a culture of excellence and accountability
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding standards, and internal policies
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and person-centred support delivery
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and development of care staff
- Maintain robust quality assurance processes, audits, and documentation
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, professionals, and external partners
- Work closely with the Nominated Individual to develop and implement growth strategies
- Identify opportunities to expand the service, increase capacity, and secure new packages of care
- Manage scheduling, operational planning, and service delivery to a high standard
- Respond effectively to incidents, concerns, and safeguarding matters
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in domiciliary care
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff
- Confidence in managing a busy service and driving operational improvements
- A proactive, growth-focused mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
- Enhanced DBS and suitable references
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
What We Offer
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Strategic support from the Nominated Individual
- Autonomy to shape, grow, and develop the service
- Opportunities for professional development and career progression
- A supportive, collaborative senior leadership team
- The chance to make a meaningful impact in the community
