The predicted salary is between 55000 - 63750 £ per year.

Our legal team provides vital resource to our project developers, and to our commercial, corporate, operations and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of matters, including corporate governance, commercial, finance and corporate transactions, property and planning issues, regulatory compliance, employment law, and intellectual property.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including property agreements, project development agreements, M&A documentation, supply contracts, and service agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the UK renewable energy sector.
  • Support the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and coordinate with external legal counsel.
  • Assist in dispute resolution, including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
  • Participate in corporate governance and company secretary activities, including preparing and reviewing board materials, minutes, and resolutions and working with our document management systems and Companies House.

Qualifications

  • England and Wales or Scottish qualification.
  • Minimum 1-2 years PQE minimum – preferably with energy experience or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of project development and regulatory advice in relation to energy projects.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation.
  • Familiarity with the energy market in the UK
  • Experience in financing structures and corporate transactions tax incentives for renewable energy projects.
