Overview: This vacancy is for all of the following hours but is available as a separate day/night role if required.
Responsibilities:
- Night carer: Start 8:45 pm to 8:00 am, waking nights; Monday night.
- Weekend care (every other weekend): Saturday 07:45β21:00, Sunday 07:45β15:00 or 21:00.
- Support residents with personal care or any help required throughout the day, and at night for night shift; help with getting washed/dressed in the morning if an early riser.
- General housework duties: light ironing, cleaning two wet rooms, lounge, kitchen.
- Night carer is a lone worker with a sleep-in staff on site for emergencies.
- Weekend carer: working with another carer and on-call staff to support residents with all aspects of care and enjoy the leisurely pace of the weekend with good food and company for residents and staff.
- Small home so attracts autonomous staff, to enjoy managing own time whilst providing a first-class service to residents and their families.
Qualifications: Professional experience preferred; however, a person with good insight and willingness to learn will be considered, including students.
