We are looking for experienced sales professionals who already understand the Data Centre and Structured Cabling services that ONNEC provide.
ONNEC provides IT and infrastructure service solutions to many of the world’s leading financial and technology companies, delivering in office and data centre environments. This key role will be responsible for targeting end-users within these sectors, both locally and globally, promoting ONNEC’s brand, portfolio of solutions and services to secure new clients. The position will have access to in-house marketing collateral and the backing of technical subject matter experts within ONNEC. The ultimate aim of the Business Manager position is to ensure that their clients are purchasing a full range of infrastructure services offered by ONNEC.
What you’ll be doing as our Business Manager:
- Account Management
- Managing and sustaining accounts and maximising revenues
- Being accountable for and managing quarterly account planning, strategy and pipeline
- Involved in commercial decisions that impact the revenue streams of those accounts
- Liaising with Marketing to manage integrated campaign execution
- Identifying market trends to grow incremental revenue and opportunities
- Dealing with all aspects of the accounts you are responsible for
- Achieving sales targets
- Attending client meetings where necessary
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
- Managing the process from initial opportunity to ensuring successful service delivery
- Attending and contributing to sales meetings, training courses and presentations
- Uncovering new business opportunities in a proactive and innovative manner
- To achieve the annual set targets as agreed with the Sales Director
- To ensure all the clients within your responsibility are kept up to date with the products and services being offered by ONNEC
- To build personal and company relationships with all the clients within their responsibility
- Own and communicate Account Development for our key/target clients
- To ensure that all pricing, proposals and tender documentation are prepared in a professional and timely manner as requested by the clients
- To feedback client information to ONNEC
- To monitor that the service levels being provided by ONNEC are in accordance with client expectations and to escalate accordingly
- Identify and develop a strong Web of Influence of all relevant stakeholders
- To maintain relationships with external suppliers on pre-sales and commercial issues
- Own the end-to-end sales process through the lifecycle of a sales project (RFP)
- To introduce other internal ONNEC staff at the appropriate time within the development of an account or a specific new business deal
- To identify tangible opportunities for growth, service, geography, location and site
- To ensure the account is being serviced by ONNEC to the highest level of quality
- Develop an action plan of sales/business activities to help convert opportunities
- To ensure the new business deal moves toward a positive conclusion in ONNEC’s favour
- Communicate potential client opportunities proactively with relevant ONNEC stakeholders
What we’re looking for in our Business Manager:
- Experience selling IT & Infrastructure and/or data centre solutions to end-users is essential
- Understanding of the IT infrastructure industry and its various elements is essential
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- RFP process (sales processes)
- Familiarity with using a Sales Database – CRM
- People-centered, enjoys interacting with many stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
- Results-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team
- Computer literate – use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Work well under pressure
- Enthusiastic and dynamic personality
