An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Science team for a full-time lecturer on a fixed-term basis. This role is perfectly suited for an enthusiastic and flexible person. We have an exciting opportunity within the department, where we need a dynamic and passionate person to join our forward-thinking team, teaching on our most popular Level 3 Forensic and Criminal Investigation with Applied Psychology course, and Level 3 Criminology with Public Services.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will join a strong team within a large, high functioning department.
- There are a range of modules available to teach including exam-based units and coursework:
- Psychological Approaches and Applications
- Health Psychology
- Conducting Psychological Research
- Criminal and Forensic Psychology
- Criminological Theories and Changing Awareness of Crime
- There will also be opportunities to work across a variety of programmes in FE and HE.
- You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.
- You should also be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment of student work with experience of personal tutoring including target setting.
Qualifications
Teaching experience and/or a psychology, criminology and forensics background would be desirable although we are keen to hear from anyone with the right skills.
