Are you passionate about enhancing young people’s careers? The School of Health Education and Care is looking for a full‑time Lecturer who will inspire our learners to achieve their full potential during their time at West Herts College.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess across Health and Social Care courses and the Psychology program at levels 1, 2, and 3.
  • Prepare resources, deliver lessons, mark student work, ensure exam success, and support students throughout their programme.
  • Teach and embed essential skills to enable learners to progress to further education or employment, including work‑experience placements.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care and/or Psychology.
  • Relevant vocational experience; a teaching qualification would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with young people or apprentices in a college or educational setting.
  • Inspirational and motivational approach to encourage learners toward successful careers.
