The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 £ per year.

This is an exciting and rewarding role that would suit an individual who is organised, proactive, flexible in their approach, highly motivated and passionate about supporting learners and promoting outstanding learning experiences within the Travel and Tourism sector.

This role will require you to support and bring together introductory-level, level 2 and level 3 programmes, that enhance learner engagement, progression and employability within the Travel and Tourism curriculum area. You will work closely with the Head of Department to support the planning, delivery, monitoring and continuous improvement of high-quality provision.

The Travel and Tourism team deliver programmes based in the Directorate of Academic, Creative, Community, Digital and Professional Studies; The provision includes vocational and introductory pathways across Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 programmes for 16‑18 years designed to support learner progression, personal development and preparation for industry or further study.

The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering and coordinating high-quality educational provision together with excellent communication, administration and organisational skills. You will be familiar with NCFE awarding body requirements and quality assurance processes and have experience in the setup, coordination and administration of vocational programmes.

In addition, you will have relevant industry experience, a recognised teaching/training qualification (or be working towards the achievement of this), together with experience of course delivery, assessment, and supporting and leading colleagues within an educational setting. The successful candidate will be a positive role model for learners and staff, committed to upholding professional standards in the classroom and aligned with the college’s educational and quality frameworks.

They will recognise the importance of real‑world learning experiences and demonstrate innovative approaches to bridging the gap between education and industry, ensuring learners are well prepared for progression into employment, apprenticeships or further education upon completion of their course. They will demonstrate a clear understanding of the importance of practical and industry‑related learning and will act as a central point of contact for learners, tutors, support teams and awarding bodies, whilst supporting the Head of Department in maintaining high standards of quality, learner achievement and learner success.

A full‑time teaching role has 828 delivery hours. The role will require you to take on and work to the college’s values of; Respect, Ambition, Integrity, Collaboration and Compassion.
