We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and skilled Safeguarding Administrator (Maternity Cover) for an initial six-month fixed-term contract based on term time only. The following provides more detail about the role.

Role And Responsibilities
- Deal with routine correspondence and enquiries from learners, parents, external agencies, and College staff, referring matters to the appropriate specialist teams in line with college procedures.
- Carry out a broad range of student-related administrative tasks to support the effective health, wellbeing, and positive progress of students.
- Provide administrative support for all incoming and outgoing students throughout the transition process, ensuring confidentiality is upheld at all times.
- Maintain accurate information and produce reports using the student record system and other administrative platforms.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings with partners and external agencies as required, including providing support for the annual Stay Safe, Be Safe event.
- Maintain a log of disciplinary and Fitness to Study cases, monitor progress, and report figures to staff, providing admin support as required.
- Minute safeguarding meetings as required, ensuring accurate and confidential record-keeping.
- Organise and archive safeguarding files in accordance with statutory guidance and internal policies, ensuring secure storage and accurate record-keeping.
- Oversee the monitoring of college trips, confirming that staff have provided a completed register and have taken an allocated phone to support communication and safety procedures.
- Update safeguarding information for the College campus and prepare communications for external stakeholders as required.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably required, commensurate with the grade and scope of the post, as agreed with the line manager. This may include supporting College events that take place outside normal working hours.
