About The Role
The Sheffield College is a large, vibrant and diverse further education college and we are proud of how the college contributes to transforming lives through learning by meeting local skills needs.
As a Technician you will support students by ensuring that learning environments are safe and secure. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment is ready and available for the delivery of learning as required for a specific learning programme.
Main Responsibilities But Not Limited To
- Supporting staff and students in the college environment, both workshops and classrooms.
- Carry out risk assessments associated with workshop practices, equipment and maintain full records
- Attend training and development as required
- Maintain workshops and equipment to a high standard in line with a healthy and safe environment
- Maintain stock levels and keep records, using the college on-line procurement system.

What We Can Offer You
As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of £27,101.85 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
