We’re looking for an inspiring Lecturer in Biology to join our dedicated teaching team. This role is ideal for someone who loves their subject, enjoys motivating learners, and wants to be part of a collaborative and forward‑thinking learning environment. You will deliver high quality teaching across a range of modules, using creative and engaging approaches to bring your subject to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding teaching and learning in scheduled classes
- Prepare engaging lesson plans, resources and digital content
- Design assessments and provide timely feedback
- Support and track student progress, ensuring all learners thrive
- Contribute to curriculum development and course reviews
- Participate in internal meetings, quality processes and CPD
- Maintain accurate records and meet administrative deadlines

- Support wider college activities, including open days, enrolment and exams
- May occasionally take part in cross‑college projects in line with strategic goals
Safeguarding & Student Support
Creating a safe, inclusive environment for learners is a key part of this role. You will work closely with our Safeguarding Team and ensure any concerns are shared promptly and appropriately.
What we can offer you
As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of £32,098 – £41,926 per annum, based on the skills, knowledge and experience you bring to the role. The salary will be pro‑rata to reflect the hours worked.
