The Sheffield College is a further and higher education institution dedicated to providing academic, vocational, and professional qualifications to approximately 13,000 young people and adults annually. This role is remote; however, all ID checks will be in person and there will be an expectation to come on to site occasionally. Working for our subsidiary company Sparks Teaching Services, as an Online IQA Assessor, you will play a vital role in developing the next generation of professionals in the sector. You will support online adult learners in qualifications, providing guidance, assessment, and constructive feedback to ensure they meet their learning goals and industry standards.
Responsibilities- Assess learners' performance and knowledge against online qualification standards.
- Provide constructive feedback to help learners improve their skills and knowledge.
- Deliver tailored support and guidance to meet individual learning needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of learner progress.
- Ensure compliance with awarding body and organisational requirements.
- Provide regular progress updates to employers and address any concerns.
- Act as an ambassador for high standards in Health and Social Care.
- Stay updated with industry standards, qualifications, and best practices.
- Attend training and development sessions as required.
From time-to-time these responsibilities may be reviewed so that they evolve as part of the college’s strategic growth and success. You may also be required to take on other tasks related to the job to support the College in the delivery of its strategic aims, without changing the role's main purpose.
What We Can Offer YouAs the successful candidate, you will be offered an hourly rate of between £13.92 - £23, depending on duties performed.
