The predicted salary is between 30246 - 32006 £ per year.

As a Progress Coach, your duties will include:

  • Providing comprehensive advisory and pastoral support to students and potential students.
  • Providing impartial guidance.
  • Delivering a comprehensive programme of group tutorials.
  • Providing pre-course information.
  • Arranging subsequent on-programme non-academic tutorial support for all students.
  • Involvement in the safeguarding of students.
  • Liaising with external agencies.
  • Carrying out reviews and monitoring student progress.
  • Setting achievable, meaningful goals and maintaining records.

You should have:

  • An NVQ Level 3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent.
  • Relevant guidance related experience.
  • A good knowledge of further education and academic progression routes.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • (Or be willing to achieve) Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy e.g. GCSE Maths and English.
