Position: Part Time 18 hours (Term time) | Permanent (Late Afternoon & early evening shift work) | £11,258 Per Annum (Pro Rata of £25,948)

The Role

We are looking for a part‑time catering assistant to join our highly collaborative catering and hospitality team. The role involves providing food and beverage services to students, staff, stakeholders and visitors throughout the day and early evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt to last‑minute changes in procedures and tasks during the academic year, switching between various tasks in the catering department.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across the college to ensure effective processing and a stronger student experience.
  • Apply critical thinking to understand situations, evaluate options and adapt approaches to exceed catering provision expectations.
  • Deliver tasks through to completion, maintaining focus and working through challenges to get results personally and as part of the catering department.
